Master Works for Cello and Piano co-presented by Geelong Chamber Music Society

Spanning the history of Western cello repertoire, Bach’s D Major Sonata – quintessentially Baroque in its beauty and elegance – and Shostakovich’s much-loved Cello Sonata – showcasing the composer’s contrasting tender lyricism and acidulous brilliance – complement a world-premiere performance of a new work by Geelong composer Kym Dillon.
